Chairman Gerard K. opened the meeting at 6:31 pm with the Serenity Prayer. The Twelve Traditions of AA were read.

Reported that we now have a full Executive committee, adding Michael C as Secretary and Michael P. as the Newly created Zoom Coordinator. A new in-person Secretary log was created and replaced by old ones in the room which highlights the extra steps needed for cleaning the room. We are creating an email list of members.

Co-Chair: Michael K. Absent

Treasurer: Gary P
Started to present the information and left the meeting. Jody K took over and presented the financial report for the previous month.

Secretary: Michael C.

Introduced himself as new Secretary. He will be coordinating the assigning new secretaries to live in-person meetings. Posted link in chat and direct them to the form for filling out.

Zoom Coordinator: Michael P

Is in the process of setting up guidelines for hybrid meetings.

General Services Representative: Leonard L

Presented information about District 9. Mentioned the importance of having zoom addresses. Also, people who need court cards can get them signed through Central Office.

Intergroup Representative: Jesse
Presented information about Desert Lifeline posted on FB page and the Website. A great resource for activities and events in the Valley. He also said Central Office would be willing to host a meeting on the 12 Concepts if we wanted.

Telephone and Meeting List: Tommy
Is waiting until we are more up and running.

Webmaster: Todd S
Talked about the redesign and upgrading of the Sunny Dunes Website: gayaainthedesert.com It is more user friendly in particular for mobile devices. There is now a link to Central Office and the Lifeline.

Old business:
Open positions on the committee were reviewed.Nikki C for Chips and Literature and John G for the Grapevine representative were elected.

H & I remains closed due to Pandemic


Maintenance, Cleaning Coordinator, Supplies

New Business:
A new meeting was brought to vote for Wednesdays at 3p We Agnostics and was approved. This new meeting will start Wed, April 21.

A member raised concerns some people in the live meetings were not wearing masks. Gerard reminded everyone this is a state mandated requirement and not up to group conscious. If we are found to be in violation of health and safety, we are at risk of losing the room. If someone does not comply, as a last resort the police are to be called.

Meeting adjourned at 7:29 pm with the serenity prayer.
