Everyone who walks through the door at Sunny Dunes Clubhouse is a member of our community. Everyone is welcome, and there are no dues or fees.
Supporting Members provide ongoing financial support for and are voting members of our non-profit organization. Please consider becoming a Supporting Member of Sunny Dunes Clubhouse if you are not one already and are able to give in this way.
The LGBTQ+ community faces unique challenges in recovery—discrimination, stigma, social isolation, and internalized shame can make it harder to seek help. At Sunny Dunes Clubhouse, we believe a supportive and affirming community is essential. Our Clubhouse provides a safe space where LGBTQ+ individuals and allies can connect, heal, and grow together.
Why Supporting Membership Matters
Sunny Dunes Clubhouse hosts 12 different 12-step fellowships and other recovery fellowships, with nearly 100 meetings each week. While the rent from 7th Tradition contributions from these groups cover about three-fourths of our operating budget, they are not enough to sustain the clubhouse. We depend on supporting memberships to make up the difference, so that we do not need to dip into our savings that is earmarked for reserves and to buy our own future building. Donations to the clubhouse and event proceeds support our future, whereas Supporting Membership supports us now and helps us keep the lights on.

Supporting Memberships are Tax Deductible Donations
Sunny Dunes Clubhouse is a California nonprofit corporation and a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Contributions, including Supporting Membership donations, are tax-deductible under IRS Code section 170. Our federal tax ID is 88-0550859.
